Eddie served 15 years in India with The Leprosy Mission. He established one of the first leprosy control programmes in India and made initial exploratory visits to Bhutan, opening the way for leprosy care teams to work there.

As the Mission’s International Director, he travelled the world bringing leprosy care to needy communities. Illustrated with his own sketches and paintings, and sparkling with humour, these memoirs are those of a family man with a special place for God in his life.
